About The Inventor
One man's journey to a “good night's sleep.”

Inventor of the Brahms Sleep AidDr. Mark Pinter is a New Jersey dentist who became personally frustrated with his lack of a good night's sleep due to chronic nasal congestion. When he consulted an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat doctor) for his congestion, he was told he would need surgery to correct the problem. Dr. Pinter was reluctant to consider surgery, but wanting to please his spouse and himself, he thought he would first try to construct an orthodontic expander device like those he builds for his dental patients. Very simply and easily he was able to expand his nasal passages with a device that was ultimately to become the Brahms Sleep Aid®.

Necessity is the mother of invention.
Over the years, at great expense, Dr. Pinter has tried various pills, creams and sprays without success. He also tried almost every dental sleep aid (mouth re-positioning device) but experienced chronic jaw soreness. Dr. Pinter did not like the feel of the externally applied nasal strips as the adhesive bothered him and often did not stick well. Since his invention worked best for him, he decided to give the device to some of his patients to try when they would report similar problems to him during dental exams. They gave him excellent feedback of great success so he decided to see if his invention was unique, which it is.

Brahm's Lullaby
Brahms'
Lullaby and
Good Night
Lullaby and good night, with roses bedight
With lilies o'er spread is baby's wee bed
Lay thee down now and rest,
many thy slumber be blessed
Lay thee down now and rest,
may thy slumber be blessed

Lullaby and good night, thy mother's delight
Bright angels beside my darling abide
They will guard thee at rest,
thou shalt wake on my breast
They will guard thee at rest,
thou shalt wake on my breast
